Taylor Wimpey is taking part in Smooth Radio’s Starlight Supper – and wants local people to join in!
Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey East Midlands is inviting local people to join the UK’s largest simultaneous dinner party in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Smooth Radio’s Starlight Supper with Woman Magazine in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support takes place on Saturday 26th February and invites people across the UK to hold dinner parties in their own homes to raise money to help people living with cancer.
Last year’s Starlight Supper raised an amazing £140,000 for the Smooth Appeal, and this year it is hoped the amount will be £200,000. Taylor Wimpey, the housebuilder behind 19 developments of East Midlands new homes, is encouraging even more people to get involved by registering online at smoothradio.co.uk. Smooth Radio will provide the sound track for dinner party hosts to tune in from 8pm on Saturday 26th February for 4 hours of nonstop soulful music with an after dinner quiz.
Kelly French, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands says: “We are delighted to support the Smooth Radio appeal, and encourage everyone to hold a Starlight Supper, whether it’s an intimate supper at home for close family and friends, or a big dinner party with lots of invitations.
“By asking guests to make a donation in exchange for wonderful food and great company, every penny your dinner party raises will go straight to Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the Smooth Radio appeal.”
