We invited green-fingered pupils from across the country to help celebrate National Tree Week by planting new trees at a number of our developments.
We also donated several new trees to schools to mark the nationwide event, which ran from 29th November to 7th December.
National Tree Week is organised by the Tree Council and encourages communities to get involved by planting new trees in their neighbourhood.
Karen Bremner, Head of Marketing for Taylor Wimpey, says: “As a responsible housebuilder, our developments are not just about delivering houses but are also about creating attractive and sustainable communities for residents to enjoy for many years to come. A big part of that involves planting new trees and providing new landscaping to create a pleasant green environment for the benefit of the new community.
“We were delighted to welcome pupils to help us plant new trees at some of our developments and we were also thrilled to be able to donate new trees for schools to enjoy.”
