Southam parents have raised over £4,000 for St James Academy C of E School with our help, following an evening of fun at their circus event, which our Midlands team donated £1,000 towards.
Organised by Southam Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA), the circus offered fun for the whole family with games, face painting, a variety of stalls and a fully-licensed bar. Southam PTFA organises events throughout the year that bring the school community together, helping raise vital funds to support the school and enhance the experiences and education of the pupils. This year’s event also supported Southam Foodbank.
Sarah Brosnan, at Southam PTFA, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with Taylor Wimpey’s generous donation to the circus. The work that we do at Southam PTFA allows us to hold events and bring opportunities to our children that often would not be possible without the help of kind donations such as this one. The circus was a lovely evening which allowed us to involve not only the school but also the local community in a unique and fun experience.”
Anne Wallace, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “The work that we do at Taylor Wimpey goes beyond building high quality homes. We’re also committed to giving something back to the communities in which we build through donations such as this one to Southam PTFA. Hosting a circus is a great way to not only raise money but to ensure that the local community has a great time too - we’re delighted that the evening was fun for all and wish Southam PTFA the best of luck in all of their future projects.”
