Our sales staff are used to greeting visitors from all sorts of backgrounds with a range of different requirements. But over the past few weeks, one set of customers has ruffled a few feathers at our East Anglia regions Northfield View development in Stowmarket.
The site features a selection of homes built to cater for growing families, and that is perhaps what first attracted a group of mallards to waddle over to the sales office from a nearby swale and take a look around. The development sales team were happy to help them choose the perfect place to nest, and even provided some organic duck food to encourage them to visit again.
The family are now regular visitors to the development as they decide which home fits the bill.
Rachel Davis, Sales Executive at Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “We were a little puzzled to see this particular family arrive at Northfield View, but they have been anything but fowl to us. Our chats with them have gone swimmingly so far and we’re confident they will soon become fully-fledged members of the Taylor Wimpey community.”
Mother duck, Mrs Ruddy, added: “There are some quacking new homes at Northfield View, and I’m thrilled to have finally found the perfect place to raise my brood. We’ve been looking to migrate to Stowmarket for some time and we’re excited to start our latest duck tale here.”
