We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nikki Gibson as the new Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire.

Nikki (43) started out as a part-time Sales Executive on a new homes development back in 1993 when her daughter was a baby, having previously worked as a recruitment consultant and estate agent, and worked her way up through the business during the following years.

Now a director, and with her two children now aged 22 and 18, she is looking forward to further concentrating on her career and using her wealth of experience to help Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire to develop and grow as a business.

Nikki says: “My experience within sales and marketing spans over 25 years and two recessions within the property market. Having worked my way up from being a Sales Executive I fully understand each position within my department and the challenges that staff may face.

“Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire is entering exciting times with an extensive land portfolio, and I am looking forward to being part of a rapidly growing business and extending the sales department to facilitate the business unit’s plans.”

Nikki has seen plenty of changes within the business during her career. She started out with Wilson Homes which became Wilson Connolly, then later Bryant/Taylor Woodrow and finally Taylor Wimpey.

As a woman in business, she’s had to juggle the demands of family life with her career, but found she was able to expand her role at work gradually as her children grew up.

She says: “I worked part-time when the children were young and progressed to full time as they got older, then became Sales Manager three years ago, and of course now I’m a Director. Taylor Wimpey has been a fantastic company to work for and really invests in its employees to help them fulfil their potential.”

Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire is building new homes at developments across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire.
