Our South Midlands regional business is best known for building high-quality homes for its customers, but the company has now made a move of its very own – to a brand new home at Newton Leys, near Milton Keynes.
Newton House is the name of the new offices in the business park bordering our Willow Lake development at Newton Leys.
Our South Midlands regional business has relocated from its Milton Keynes head office to its brand new headquarters and held a grand opening ceremony to mark the occasion on Thursday 3rd July.
Among those present were the building’s architects, Stephen George and Partners, the main contractor Interserve, and the overall project manager, Concept Design.
Community representatives and staff from the Milton Keynes-based Ride High charity for children and young people, which benefited from a £500 donation from Taylor Wimpey through its Community Chest scheme, were also in attendance.
The event also included speeches, photographs and refreshments as well as a balloon release to show appreciation for the Bedford Daycare Hospice, an independent charity which supports those with life-threatening illnesses in Mid and North Bedfordshire.
Andrew Sturla, Managing Director of Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, says: “We are delighted to have moved into our new offices next to Willow Lake and look forward to working together in these stunning surroundings.
“It was fantastic to be joined by so many of our community partners at our grand opening event, and in particular to be able to recognise the incredible work done by the Bedford Daycare Hospice – a charity to which we have given a great deal of support over the last year or so.
“I’d like to thank everyone who came along to make our first official event at Newton House such a success.”
