When we called Rebecca Willetts to tell her she’d won a £2,500 holiday voucher in one of our competitions, she burst into tears.

She knew that the generous windfall would be the missing piece in her dream wedding next year – it would pay for the honeymoon that she and future husband Stephen Forrester thought they couldn’t afford.

The couple won their fabulous prize after entering a competition at a recent showhome launch event at our Clover Park development in Redditch, Worcestershire, where they’ve just bought their first home.

“We can’t believe it,” Rebecca admits. “I’m still trying to get over it now. We had thought we couldn’t afford a honeymoon after all the expense of a new house and the wedding.

“Now we can have the honeymoon we so much wanted, and we can afford to go pretty much anywhere. We’d never have been able to afford it on our own.

“If you put me on the spot now, I would probably say I’d go to Cuba – I’d love to go to Havana – but we’ve got nearly a year to make up our minds!”

And did she really cry when she heard the news? “I did, yes. I got the phone call in the car and I had to pull over because I was shaking so much. I’d forgotten all about entering the competition. It was just amazing news!”

Finance team leader Rebecca (29) and delivery driver Stephen (29) are getting married in August next year at Wroxhall Abbey, a stately country mansion in Warwickshire.

But before that, they’re due to move into their new Clover Park house at the end of October this year.

“It’s our first home,” says Rebecca. “Everything’s going so well, and now we’ve got the honeymoon. I really can’t believe it!”

Rebecca and Stephen are moving into a wonderful four-bedroom ‘Bradenham’ home, with a bit of assistance from the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

“I love the kitchen in our new house,” says Rebecca. “And the living room has a lot of space. And when I was a little girl I always wanted an en suite – and we’ve got that as well!”

As for the Clover Park development itself, Rebecca adds: “It’s a quiet development, it’s a small development – it’s very picturesque.”

There’s a superb selection of four-bedroom houses currently available at Clover Park.
