Our West Scotland team has continued their support for one of Scotland’s budding young badminton stars, Adam Hall, by providing a further sponsorship of £500 to this talented young sportsman – who has set his sights on representing Scotland in the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018
Adam (20), from Mauchline in Ayrshire, has been playing badminton since he was four years-old, and has now relocated to Milton Keynes to form part of the GB full-time programme and is training with recent Olympic medallists Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge.
He has also won his first senior international title in Iceland and has represented Scotland at senior level, being unbeaten at the recent European Championships. He has been targeted by commentators as the player to watch for future Great Britain Olympic teams.
Adam relies on sponsorship to compete all over Europe, as he explains: “I need sponsorship to help fund the costs of travelling to tournaments, so I’m incredibly grateful for the continued support that Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has given me.
“I’m really passionate about badminton and I’m extremely focused on getting into the Scotland squad for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018, but I’m also keen to encourage children to get involved in Badminton, so I currently coach younger players in the evening – it’s great to be completely immersed in this sport.”
Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, which is currently building new homes at Walker’s Gate in Kilmarnock, says: “We’re delighted to continue our support of Adam, and we wish him every success with his goal of representing Scotland at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.”
There’s a superb selection of three and four bedroom homes currently available at Walker’s Gate.
