This year’s Northwich Festival has been given a cash boost of just under £1,000, thanks to a donation from us.

The event, which takes place over the August bank holiday weekend every year, is held at Moss Farm recreation centre and supports Northwich RUFC’s Youth Development Charity, Cheshire Independent Living and Help for Heroes.

Warren Davies, sponsorship secretary at Northwich RUFC, says: “Northwich Festival is a landmark event in the local calendar and with Taylor Wimpey’s Winnington Village and Eden Grange developments now taking shape nearby, we’re thrilled that they’re getting involved.

“We are a volunteer organisation whose only source of income is from such fundraising events so this donation has been greatly appreciated.

“Taylor Wimpey’s help will really go a long way, so I would like to thank them for everything on behalf of all from Northwich RUFC.”

Christine Aitken, regional sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey, says: “Northwich Festival is an amazing local event for three fantastic causes.

“With two developments at the heart of the community, and a number of residents who will benefit from the event, we were only too happy to get involved.”

We offered up £950 to the festival, which is organised by Northwich RUFC and attracts around 10,000 people from across Cheshire for a fun-filled family weekend.
