Taylor Wimpey supports Northburn Primary Summer Fair web

Northburn Primary School in Cramlington, Northumberland, enjoyed a weekend of fun and fundraising at its annual summer fair recently, after we lent our support.

We helped kick off the family fundraiser with a £500 cash boost towards the school’s outdoor equipment fund, which is being used to buy play area and sensory equipment to promote exercise and social interaction among the children.

Gillian Tawse, headteacher at Northburn Primary School, comments: “Our summer fair goes a long way toward supporting the day-to-day running on the school, as well as any additional equipment we might need throughout the course of the year.

“We’re delighted to receive any contribution – big or small – and have been blown away by Taylor Wimpey’s generous donation to the school.”

Northburn Primary School neighbours our Parkside Glade development in Cramlington, which is built on the former Parkside Middle School site.

Karl Morton, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North East, adds: “Being so close to Northburn Primary School, we were only too happy to be a part of what always promises to be a great day on the community calendar.

“We hope that our contribution goes some way to boosting the school’s equipment fund and look forward to working with Northburn again in the future.”

Parkside Glade currently features a range of four-bedroom homes.
