One lucky visitor to the Southmoor Church Fete scooped a £100 cash prize in the grand draw thanks to Taylor Wimpey.
The family event took place at Kingston Bagpuize House near Abingdon on Saturday 28th June and featured games inspired by the children’s cartoon Wacky Races, as well as a bouncy castle, live music and a range of stalls.
We sponsored the fete raffle, donating the £100 grand prize. Other prizes included Cotswold Wildlife Park tickets, tea for two with local MP Ed Vaizey at the House of Commons and a £25 lunch voucher for The Fox in Denchworth.
Darren McCormack, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We were delighted to sponsor the Southmoor Church Fete Grand Draw and hope the lucky winner will enjoy spending the cash prize!
“This was a fantastic event for the whole community to enjoy and we very much hope it continues for many years to come.”
Chris Carpenter, Chairman of the Southmoor Church Fete committee, says: “We were delighted to welcome more than 600 villagers to our fete, which is one of the events which brings the whole village together and makes it such a special place to live.”
We are currently building new homes at Southmoor Grange in Southmoor.
