Clitheroe Cricket Club is revamping its clubhouse after we provided a £350 cash boost to help them make much-need improvements.
This is the second time we have sponsored the club, following a partnership with its youth division – the Cobras – last season.
Amanda Hall, chairman at Clitheroe Cricket Club, comments: “We are currently fundraising to renovate our club house so Taylor Wimpey’s continued support is greatly appreciated.
“The donation will enable us to make some desperate improvements, which we have been hoping to complete for some time.”
Chloe Dunn, Head of Sales at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, explains: “Clitheroe Cricket Club is an extremely important part of the Clitheroe community and with a number of our most popular developments based within a close proximity to the club, we are glad to be of assistance.
“We understand the importance of health and with the club providing sporting facilities to so many adults and children in the region, we couldn’t think of a better establishment to invest in."
Amanda concludes: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor Wimpey on behalf of the whole club. Without help from local businesses, we’d struggle to maintain our facilities.”
We have a superb selection of new homes available at a number of developments in Clitheroe, including Calderstones Vale, Low Moor Gardens and Ribble Meadows.
