Our West Midlands team has given its support to contractors at our Summer Rise development in Telford, Shropshire, by sponsoring them £500 to get in the pink!
Foundation engineering company Roger Bullivant Limited (RB) delivered specially manufactured pink piles to the site on Tuesday 13th October, which were then driven into the ground as part of the company’s support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The contractors are constructing the foundations for new homes at Summer Rise, which is the latest phase of our development within Telford Millennium Village.
Lloyd Green, Production Director for Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, says: “When we heard about RB’s support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month we were only too pleased to help. It’s a very worthwhile cause close to all of our hearts, so we were determined to help them raise as much money as possible.
“We’re delighted to have been involved in their fundraising efforts at our Summer Rise development in Telford!”
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is organised by Breast Cancer Now – the UK’s largest breast cancer charity formed by the merger of Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer – to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The month includes Wear It Pink Day, which this year was on Friday 23rd October.
There’s currently a selection of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses available at Summer Rise.
