Sponsorship from our team in Exeter has given a fundraising boost to Perranporth Community Primary School in Cornwall.
Our generous donation meant that takings from the school’s raffle were more than doubled, helping to raise a grand total of £335 for the benefit of pupils.
We are currently building new homes at Parc Hendrawna, which neighbours the school in Liskey Hill, Perranporth, and we chose the development’s name from suggestions made by the school children.
Alistair Johnson, headteacher at the school, says: “We’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for supporting the raffle which was held at our recent summer fair.
“The school budget only covers so much, so the funds we raise help pay for school trips and various pieces of equipment.”
Clare Brimble, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Exeter, says: “As a local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, so we were delighted to sponsor the raffle at Perranporth Community Primary School.
“We look forward to continuing to develop our relationship with the school as our Parc Hendrawna development takes shape.”
There is a selection of four and six-bedroom homes currently available at Parc Hendrawna, while a wider selection of three, four, five and six-bedroom properties will be on sale soon.
