We have made a donation of £1,000 towards the Gwyl Rhuthun Ruthin Festival 2014.

The week-long festival, which will run from June 28th until July 5th, will take place within various venues across Ruthin, including Ruthin Craft Centre, Ruthin Castle and the John Ambrose Theatre.

Rosie Hughes-Moseley, festival chair, says: “Gwyl Rhuthun Ruthin Festival is a non-profit event that provides a week’s worth of activities to drive tourism to the area, while bringing the whole town together.

“We provide lots of entertainment for the whole family; so whether you’re interested in anything from crafts and dancing to reggae music and opera, we will definitely have something for you.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team from Taylor Wimpey. They have been a huge help as without donations like this, the festival just wouldn’t be possible.”

Gwyl Rhuthun Ruthin Festival is now in its 19th year of celebrating the arts while providing entertainment for both locals and tourists alike.

David Hnyda, sales manager for Taylor Wimpey North West, says: “Gwyl Rhuthun Ruthin Festival is an incredible event and we’re delighted to be assisting the organisers in providing some fantastic entertainment for so many people.

“With our Glasdir development now set right in the heart of the town, we’re loving getting involved with the local community.”
