Reflections - RASCALS Donation web

We made a donation to a charity group which produces arts based sessions for people in Ilford and surrounding areas including those with disabilities and disadvantages.

Rascals, which organises classes at Gants Hill Methodist Church in Gantshill Crescent, Ilford, near to our Reflections development in Romford, provides a wide range of activities from which members can choose what they prefer to do. Free refreshments are provided at all meetings.

We made the donation to the group for much-needed materials and as a thank you, the group presented some of its arts and craft work to us.

Philip Joseph, the charity’s founder, says: “I’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their kind donation, which renews our long-standing relationship with the company and we’re delighted to present some of our pictures to the housebuilder.

“At Rascals nobody gets paid as we’re all volunteers so we appreciate this donation very much.”

Rascals was first supported by Taylor Wimpey, then George Wimpey, when the group was founded in 1990, and Philip and his colleagues have been helping such like people ever since. The charity can be contacted on 020 8590 3125 for further information.

Michael O’Leary, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “As a local housebuilder we are committed to supporting the local communities in which we build our new homes and our donation to Rascals is a great example of how we can help local groups and organisations.”
