We helped to spread festive cheer at a Swindon school’s Christmas bazaar by donating £150 towards raffle prizes!
The annual event was held on Friday 5th December at Wanborough Primary School, which is located down the road from our Wanborough Gardens development, just off Stanley Close.
Each class prepared an exciting activity to raise money at the Christmas bazaar, including biscuit decorating, Yule log making and a tombola. There was also mulled wine, mince pies and children’s tattoos on sale throughout the event.
Our donation helped the school to purchase both the main and runner-up prizes for the raffle – a state-of-the-art electronic tablet and £50 gift vouchers, respectively.
School headteacher Andy Drury says: “The wonderful donation of £150 from Taylor Wimpey was extremely helpful, allowing us to offer two fantastic top prizes for our Christmas raffle.
“Everyone worked together to make this day particularly special, and we even had a magical visit from Santa Claus to give gifts to the children!
“Pupils, parents and staff all had a fantastic time at our bazaar, and the money raised will go towards improving our school. On behalf of Wanborough Primary School, I’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their fantastic support.”
Nikki Gibson, Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire, says: “I’m pleased to hear the bazaar was a huge success, and I hope that the lucky winners in the raffle enjoy their prizes!”
There’s a choice of luxury four and five-bedroom homes currently available to reserve at Wanborough Gardens.
