We are proud to announce that we are supporting Dunbar Rugby Football Club’s annual Minis Tournament for a record fifth year in a row!

This year’s event will be staged at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre in Dunbar, East Lothian, on Sunday 17th May and will be bigger than ever before with around 650 children from Dunbar, Berwick, Duns, Haddington, North Berwick, Preston Lodge, Portobello and Currie all taking part.

Sponsoring the Dunbar Minis Tournament is a great chance for us to once again get involved in the local community.

Karen Armstrong, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, comments: “We’re delighted to continue our support for this very successful local event that has seen its numbers of players grow year on year. It’s also become a popular fixture in the local community calendar with over 1,000 spectators visiting the club to enjoy this fun family event that encourages a healthy participation in sport.

“Our new development at Gospatrick Grange in Dunbar is coming soon and it will offer 81 family homes.  With the recent completion of 130 homes in our previous development, as well as our successful track record in the town, we are undoubtedly attracting new families to the area – so our continued sponsorship and involvement with Dunbar RFC allows us to show our commitment to the local community.”

Finlay Graham, Dunbar RFC Mini Co-ordinator, adds: “Following the successful track record of this popular event, we’re looking forward to creating an even bigger and better event this year that has already attracted teams from across East Lothian and Edinburgh.  We’re thrilled to have secured Taylor Wimpey as our main sponsor for the fifth year in a row.

“Our tournament is the only minis event that recognises every player from every team with a participation medal. Our sponsorship from Taylor Wimpey helps us to maintain this key aspect of the event whilst helping us to reinforce that getting involved and playing a sport for fun and fitness is a positive life choice.

“The club enjoys fantastic support from its sponsors, volunteers, coaches, referees, parents and most importantly every minis rugby player who ensures that the tournament remains a great success each year.

“We’re looking forward to one of the biggest fixtures in the club’s calendar, and we hope to see as many members of the local community at the event as possible to support their local team!”

Gospatrick Grange will offer a choice of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.
