Holland Junior School in Oxted, Surrey, has received an eggcellent donation from us to help fund its big Easter fundraising event.
Our South East team, which is currently building high-quality homes at Meridian Square in nearby Hurst Green, donated an Easter hamper to the school to support its annual ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’ celebrations.
This year’s fundraiser, which takes place on Saturday 25th March, will feature an Easter-themed bake-off competition for the pupils to take part in, with our hamper being awarded as one of the prizes.
This is the fifth time that we have sponsored the school’s fundraising efforts, after we also made donations towards previous Christmas events and the past two Easter Eggstravaganzas!
Our team also showed their support for the school earlier this year by supplying 220 high-visibility snap bands for pupils to wear on their walk to school as well as a £250 donation towards some new books as part of the national World Book Day event.
Terence Sheen, Headteacher at Holland Junior School, says: “We are delighted that Taylor Wimpey has one again showed their support for our Easter fundraiser – we really are very grateful for their donation.
“Our Easter Eggstravaganza is one of our biggest fundraising events throughout the year and Taylor Wimpey’s ongoing support enables us to raise more vital funds.
“We’re so grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s generosity towards our school and would like to say a big thank you!”
Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South East, adds: “We feel it’s very important to support the local communities in which we build our new homes, so we were thrilled to provide the Easter hamper to Holland Junior School as part of our continued partnership.
“We hope this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza is as successful as the last two years and that everyone enjoys the event.”
There’s a choice of three‑bedroom homes currently available at Meridian Square.
