Children from Eynsham Community Primary School were treated to a visit from an experienced chocolatier on Friday 28th June, as part of our Oxfordshire team’s drawing competition.
A total of 20 children entered the competition, from the Rabbit Class, with their own designs of the perfect Easter egg. The overall winner of the competition was Freddy (aged 6), who received a National Book Token voucher for his winning design.
The school in Eynsham received a luxurious chocolate experience from Ministry of Chocolate, which included an afternoon of activity on the history and how chocolate is produced. The children were also given the chance to make a sweet treat for themselves.
Ginny Bayliss, Headteacher at Eynsham Community Primary School, said: “We would like to thank Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire for providing the children with this unique experience. We encourage opportunities when our children can experience new ways of learning. The Rabbit Class thoroughly enjoyed the day and Freddy was delighted to be picked to receive the winning voucher prize.”
Danielle Heard, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire, said: “Getting creative with their hands is a fantastic way for children to learn about the world around them and to feed their imaginations. We enjoyed getting to see how creative children can be with their drawings and we’re thrilled to hear that the children from Eynsham Community Primary School enjoyed the chocolate experience.”
