As part of its ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, our West Scotland team has recently provided funding to amateur football team Ferguslie Star AFC in Paisley. The donation provided will go towards the provision of new pre-match warm-up tops for the team, as well as the sponsorship of an individual plater.

Ferguslie Star AFC are an amateur football club based in the Ferguslie Park area of Paisley and have recently moved leagues to the Greater Glasgow Amateur Football League for the 2019/2020 season.

Commenting on the support it has received from Taylor Wimpey, David Brown, Manager of Ferguslie Star AFC said: "We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received from Taylor Wimpey. We can't thank them enough for their generous donation to provide our new pre-match warm-up tops for our team, as well as providing individual player sponsorship for Gerard - without the support of our sponsors it would be too difficult to provide the kit and equipment that our players need. On behalf of everyone at Ferguslie Star AFC, I would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Taylor Wimpey.

Kirsty McGill, Head of Sales at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland said: "We were excited to learn that four of our local employees contribute to this local amateur team in Paisley, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to provide our sponsorship for the warm-up tops as well as an individual player too. We wish David and the rest of the team eery success in their new league. The work we do is a lot more than just building high-quality homes. Being able to work with local organisations that surround our developments means a great deal to us."
