South Normanton Athletic Football Club will be improving spectator viewing, with brand-new concrete standing around its Disabled and Family Stand enclosure, thanks to our renewed sponsorship deal!
With two existing teams and plans to establish a third, the club prides itself on providing the entire Alfreton community with the opportunity to participate in sport.
Phil Bailey, chairman of South Normanton AFC comments: “This is the second time Taylor Wimpey has offered support to the club, and with our expansion plans this year, the donation has come at a perfect time so we’re incredibly grateful.
“This generous contribution means we are able to carry out essential ground improvements, which will not only benefit existing members but also those in the local community that use our facilities.”
South Normanton AFC intends to offer its new facilities to schools, clubs, charities and the wider general community, to provide a much-needed playing surface and encourage sport activity.
Anne Bagshaw, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire says: “With our Ball Hill-based Weavers Gardens development so close to South Normanton AFC’s grounds, we felt it was important to help with the renovation project as much as we could to improve its existing structures.
“We’re thrilled to support the club once again and hope it will make a real difference to all those involved.”
There’s a superb selection of three, four and five-bedroom homes available at Weavers Gardens.
