Children from Wychbold First and Nursery School enjoyed a special tour of our Jasmine Gardens development in the Worcestershire village thanks to Site Manager Graham Mason.

The 18 pupils got to explore the showhome at the development and looked over plans for the new homes at the Sales Centre, before donning hard hats and high-visibility jackets to look around the construction site to see the homes taking shape.

During the visit, the children also learned about the different materials used to build a house and the importance of safety on building sites.

Rachel Hughes, Headteacher at Wychbold First and Nursery School, says: “The children absolutely loved the opportunity to visit the Jasmine Gardens development and really enjoyed looking at the new homes with Graham.

“They particularly liked exploring the showhome and looking around all of the different rooms, and the visit was very beneficial. I’d like to say thank you to the Taylor Wimpey staff at the development for welcoming our pupils.”

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “As a local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build, so we were only too pleased to welcome pupils from Wychbold First and Nursery School to visit our Jasmine Gardens development.

“I’m pleased that the children enjoyed their visit and hope that it was helpful for their project about houses.”
