Our Bristol team has given its support to a new primary school in Bridgwater, Somerset, by helping to raise the profile of its summer fete.
Willowdown Primary Academy PTFA held the fun-packed fete on Saturday 2nd July to raise much-needed funds for the school.
We paid for a re-usable banner advertising the fete which was put up outside the school in Kings Drive, just down the road from our Sales and Information Centre at the Kings Down development.
This isn’t the first time we’ve supported the school – which opened at Kings Down in September 2014 – donating the top raffle prize at last year’s Christmas fair.
Olly Priestley, Head of School at Willowdown Primary Academy, says: “We’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for making this generous donation to our school and their continued support.
“The banner was extremely helpful in advertising the summer fair to local residents and passers-by. What’s more, it will be available to use in future years to publicise this important event in our school calendar which raises vital funds to benefit the children at school.”
Charlie Joseph, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, says: “As a responsible local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, so we were only too happy to help Willowdown Primary Academy’s PTFA in their fundraising efforts.”
There’s currently a wonderful selection of three and four-bedroom homes available at Kings Down.
