We’re proud to be sponsoring the 2015 Keynsham Music Festival this summer, by pumping £500 into the event, which involves a huge variety of music acts from the south-west, the UK and all over the world.
While the big festival event is on Sunday 5th July in Keynsham Memorial Park, various events run throughout the week, from Monday 29th June, at the park and in different venues in the area. The festival attracts around 20,000 people, including 15,000 on the Sunday.
Acts on the Sunday this year range from Keynsham singer-songwriter Natalie Holmes to a pop band from Italy, and from Bristol-based funk/rock band Caravaggio to a blues band from Argentina.
The festival, which has been going for 18 years, also includes an open-air film night, with the film voted for by local people.
Festival organiser Ric Davison says: “We’re truly indebted to local businesses like Taylor Wimpey for the money they put into the festival.
“Every year the festival gets more expensive to put on, and if we are to keep standards high, sponsorship money is absolutely essential.”
Charlie Joseph, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, says: “As a housebuilder working in Keynsham, we are delighted to support an event aimed at the community in which we are building.
“Keynsham Music Festival is known as one of the best free events in the UK, and we hope our donation will help make this year’s event another big success.”
