Redcar Rugby Union Football Club in Cleveland has received a cash boost in excess of £500 from our North Yorkshire team.
The club, which is based at Mackinlay Park, has used the donation to purchase brand-new training tops for its first and second teams.
Chris White, chairman of rugby at Redcar Rugby Union Football Club, says: “We’re extremely grateful for the donation we have received from Taylor Wimpey, which has enabled us to purchase training tops for our entire adult division.
“The club relies heavily on donations of this nature for us to continue with the work we’re doing with both adults and children throughout the local community.”
In addition to its senior section, Redcar Rugby Union Football Club has a number of junior teams, ranging from U7s right up to U16s.
Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, says: “As soon as we heard that the adult teams at Redcar Rugby Union were in need of new kits, we jumped at the chance to help out.
“It’s clear that the club is at the heart of the community, so we look forward to working with them again in the future.”
Chris concludes: “The new training tops look great, so we cannot thank Taylor Wimpey enough for this support.”
