Patients at Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove are now able to enjoy some spruced-up surroundings!
We sent volunteers from our maintenance team to the hospice in St Godwalds Road to give a fresh lick of paint to two consulting rooms, a cloakroom and the centre’s Sacred Space, a room for reflection and religious services.
Jo Merrett, Volunteer’s Manager at Primrose Hospice, says: “As we are a charity, all of our money goes directly towards patient care, so things like this can get pushed to the bottom of the pile. This will make such a huge difference creating a nicer, brighter environment.
“The change will really benefit patients here, as the Sacred Space holds many services, whilst the consulting rooms have lots of clinics every day – it’s really important to have a calming atmosphere for patients.
“Myself and all the staff at The Primrose Hospice want to thank Taylor Wimpey, as we’re so grateful that our rooms will look much more warm and welcoming to everyone who comes here.”
We’re currently building new homes at our Jasmine Gardens development in Worcester Road, Wychbold, Worcestershire.
