Malton Hospital League of Friends is celebrating following a £500 donation from our North Yorkshire business unit.
The money will be used by the charity to fund essential items required by the staff and patients at Malton Hospital.
Barbara Dimmey, secretary and treasurer at the Malton Hospital League of Friends, comments: “We strive to support Malton Hospital by providing it with the vital equipment it needs to offer new and up-to-the-minute treatment and diagnosis.
“The money will have a positive impact on the members of the local community who depend on the hospital’s services.
“We are very grateful to Taylor Wimpey for this donation, which I know the hospital will put to very good use.”
Malton Hospital League of Friends has been successfully supporting the hospital and local community since 1977 and runs a charity shop on Newbiggin, near our Broughton Manor development.
Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, says: “Residents from across Malton, including those at our Broughton Manor development, benefit from the services offered by Malton Hospital, so we are very pleased that we could offer our support.
“The work done by the League of Friends is essential to the running of the hospital, and its charity shop plays an integral part in the local community. We look forward to working with the charity again soon and wish it every success in its future fundraising activities.”
A delightful range of three and four-bedroom homes is currently available to reserve at Broughton Manor.
