Our South Thames team has gifted £250 to Manorfield Primary & Nursery School after announcing them as the latest winners of the donation box scheme at its Westvale Park development. Every month, visitors to the development’s Sales Information Centre, located off Reigate Road in Horley, are invited to vote for one of three local causes to receive a donation and Manorfield Primary & Nursery School received the most votes from the local community.
Manorfield Primary & Nursery School is the only school in the Horley area and endeavours to offer education for children from the ages of two to eleven. Commenting on Taylor Wimpey’s donation, Karen James, School Business Manager, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to receive the support of Taylor Wimpey and I would like to say thank you to everyone who voted in the donation box scheme at Westvale Park. We are always looking at ways to better our school, and Taylor Wimpey’s donation will help us improve our Forest School area before the spring.”
Tina Chalk, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey South Thames, says: “We are proud to support to the communities in which we are building. We were delighted to make a donation to Manorfield Primary & Nursery School and I have no doubt that our funding will be put to good use. I would encourage people in the area to visit us at Westvale Park and place their vote in our donation box scheme to have their say on who they would like to see receive our support next.”
