Morpeth Town FC received a £1,700 match day tracksuit sponsorship from our North East team for its FA Vase final trip to Wembley Stadium.

The EBAC Northern League club faced Hereford FC on Sunday 22nd May, and we provided tracksuits as the team played at Wembley for the first time in the club’s history!

Nicky Gray, Morpeth Town team manager, says: “The whole team was buzzing to step on to the famous Wembley turf. Having this support from Taylor Wimpey meant we had a match day tracksuit to fit the occasion.

“The weekend was a massive occasion in London with the FA Cup final being played the day before. We enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere and making the most of playing at such a famous venue.

“I’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their support. The match day tracksuits added to what was already a memorable day.”

Morpeth Town was founded in 1894 and played its first national final in the club’s 120-year history. The match was aired live on BT Sport as part of a double bill with the FA Trophy.

Karl Morton, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North East, says: “We always try and bolster ties with the local community. It’s a great achievement for Morpeth Town to make it to a national final and we were delighted to support the lads at Wembley.

“With the St. Andrews Gardens development being just around the corner from Craik Park we wanted to show our colours in the final.”

St Andrews Gardens has a selection of three, four and five-bedroom homes currently available.
