Mosborough FC U9s have signed a two-year sponsorship deal with our Yorkshire business unit.
The £500 sponsorship will see new kits purchased for the fast-growing team, to ensure that all new members can match existing players when participating in games both at home and away.
Lee Knowles, Vice Chairman of Mosborough FC, comments: “Thanks to our success in the last season our U9s team has grown from 10 players to 18, so we really needed new kit.
“We would like to extend a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey for its generosity. This donation has been a massive help, as the players can all look like a proper team, and when they look like one they play like one.”
Mosborough FC was formed in 1974, and introduced juniors in 2005, taking the club from three to 16 teams. Juniors are not recruited on a trial basis, allowing children of all ages and abilities across the region to take part in the game.
Anne Bagshaw, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, comments: “We believe it is very important to support the communities around where we build and as the development is located near our Connect at Halfway development, we are delighted to offer the club our support.
“Mosborough FC offers local children the opportunity to participate in competitive football, while getting fit and making some friends in the process and we look forward to working with the club again soon.”
