We are backing a week-long music festival held for the people of Keynsham, Somerset, with a donation.
The 14th annual Keynsham Music Festival will run from Monday 30th June to Sunday 6th July and will feature a range of performers across several venues in the town.
We donated £500 towards the running of the event.
Organiser Ric Davison says: “Taylor Wimpey has supported the festival for several years, and the sponsorship is an enormous help – we absolutely depend on this kind of donation.
“We’ve got a great line-up of performers planned for the festival this year and we are looking forward to a fantastic week.”
Performances will take place across four stages, and the festival will include an Opera in the Park evening, a gala concert with the Keynsham Orchestra, and several acoustic events.
Other highlights will include an open air screening of Dirty Dancing and a talk by Scottish eco-activist and author Alistair McIntosh.
Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “As a local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build, so we were only too pleased to offer our support to Keynsham Music Festival again this year.
“This is a fantastic week of events held for the enjoyment of the community and we wish the organisers all the best for this year’s festival.”
We are building new homes at The Meadows and Somerdale in Keynsham.
