New Marske Junior Football Club has scored itself a new kit thanks to a £200 donation from our North Yorkshire team.
The cash boost will purchase new kits for the club’s newly-formed U10s girls team for the upcoming 2017/18 season.
Simon Whitwell, secretary of the New Marske Junior Football Club, comments: “We brought together a group of girls to form an U10s team by liaising with local primary schools.
“This generous donation has gone towards purchasing kits and first aid accessories, so it has been very gratefully received.”
New Marske Junior Football Club trains near our Annandale Park development in Skelton. With teams running from U7s to U16s playing in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance League, the club provides quality football development to children of all abilities in a fun and safe environment.
Simon concludes: “We would like to extend a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey for its generosity. We look forward to welcoming some of the young Annandale Park residents onto our teams.”
Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, says: “It’s very important for children to take part in junior sports as it has major health benefits and enhances essential social and teamwork skills.
“New Marske Junior Football Club plays an important part in the local community around our Annandale Park development and we are very proud to be able to support it. We look forward to following the progress of the girls U10s team this season.”
