Young Norfolk footballers are looking the part on the pitch thanks to a sponsorship boost from our East Anglia team. We gave £350 to Old Catton Junior Football Club to fund training tops for the under 11’s team. The donation was part of the regions work to support the community around its Broadgate Park development in Sprowston, not far from the club’s training ground.
Established in 1969, Old Catton Junior Football Club is one of the largest junior football clubs in Norfolk. With approximately 350 players per season, the club prides itself on attention to excellent sporting manner and promoting enjoyment for the players. The club participates in several matches throughout the season and wear training tops during practice and before games.
Commenting on the support it has received from Taylor Wimpey, Simon Powell, Football Coach for Old Catton Junior Football Club, said: “We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received from Taylor Wimpey and we can’t thank them enough for their generous sponsorship. It has given the team quality training tops to wear when prepping for matches. On behalf of everyone at Old Catton Junior Football Club, I would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Taylor Wimpey.”
Caroline Carter, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “As a responsible housebuilder we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, so we were delighted to be able to help Old Catton Junior Football Club Under 11’s team and provide them with new training tops.
“We look forward to following the team’s progress during the season and wish them every success.”
