Following a site naming competition held with pupils at Normanton Common Primary Academy, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming development in Normanton, Wakefield, has been named Clover View.
With 315 pupils entering name suggestions across the school, the winning entry came from 10-year-old Natalia Miareczkei, who received two hampers full of sweets, books and art equipment for her efforts!
Mr Glyn Bishop, Headteacher at Normanton Common Primary Academy, says: “With families at our school already living in Taylor Wimpey homes nearby, we were extremely pleased to be invited to contribute to the new development in Normanton.
“Natalia is very proud that her name suggestion was chosen and she feels she has created a lasting legacy in the area. We’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for running the competition and presenting the fantastic prizes!”
Anne Bagshaw, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, comments: “We were keen to involve local children when it came to naming the new site, so we’re delighted to have created links on this project with the nearby school.
“Clover View is a perfect fit for the upcoming development, which will soon be a huge part of the Normanton community.”
Our Clover View development is located off Castleford Road, and will offer a stylish collection of 300 homes including terraced, semi-detached and detached styles.
