We provided a cash boost to Ribblesdale Children’s Centre and Nursery School in Clitheroe, Lancashire, to pay for arts and crafts materials to help celebrate Mother’s Day.

The centre, which is based just a short distance from our Ribble Meadows development, held a creative session where all of its members were given the opportunity to decorate cards in time for the big day.

Sue Allan, Head of Centre at Ribblesdale Children’s Centre and Nursery School, comments: “The children enjoyed being creative and making the special Mother’s Day cards.

“The donation we received from Taylor Wimpey was very much appreciated and enabled us to purchase craft items for our members including cards, paint, stationary, ribbons and daffodils. All of the children were excited and took a little something home for mum.”

Ribblesdale Children’s Centre and Nursery School provides a number of services for families in Clitheroe, including family activities, day care for toddlers aged two to five years old, and a maintained nursery school with Early Years teachers.

Chloe Dunn, Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester, explains: “We are thrilled to have worked with the centre on such an exciting project.

“Mother’s Day is a great time of year for us to show our appreciation and we’re glad to have assisted the local mums and toddlers in Clitheroe in helping them to celebrate.”

Sue concludes: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor Wimpey for their support and we hope this marks the start of a long and successful relationship with our centre.”

Ribble Meadows currently features a selection of three and four-bedroom homes.
