Our North West business unit has served up a £400 sponsorship to Ormskirk Tennis Club’s junior teams. The donation will be used to provide kits for the club’s five junior teams to be worn while they compete and train.

The club was established in 1905 and encourages people of all ages and abilities to get involved in tennis. It offers a comprehensive programme of social, competitive and coaching opportunities for adults and children led by LTA approved coaches.

Rob Owens, Club Chairman, comments: “It’s wonderful to have a company like Taylor Wimpey supporting a local cause and engaging with the community. Our club welcomes members of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to get active and have fun building a real camaraderie within the club. This donation towards kits will really help our junior members to feel like a team while ensuring they look great as they step onto the court to compete.”

Ormskirk Tennis Club is located just 1½ miles from Taylor Wimpey North West’s Highgrove Park development and offers a variety of three and four-bedroom homes perfect for first-time buyers and growing families.

Emily Nicklin, sales manager at Taylor Wimpey North West, says: “We’re always keen to give back to the communities in which we build and the tennis club is a wonderful organisation to be part of.

“It’s great to see a club like this that really does encourage people from all walks of life to get active while helping them make friends and have fun. The kits look great and we wish the junior teams the best of luck at competition.”
