Staff from our Central London team hit the road in aid of End Youth Homelessness, cycling 150 miles from Portugal to Spain and raising more than £62,000 in the process.
The 39 cyclists set off on 11th October, taking two days to complete the famous Camino de Santiago Portuguese route.
Departing from the medieval city of Porto, this challenging route stretched for approximately 150 miles crossing two countries and finishing in the iconic Santiago de Compostela. The coastal route climbs over 1800m and provides a stern test of endurance for even the most experienced cyclists.
Originally tasked with raising £45,000, the team has more than exceeded that target.
The entire team said: “We’d like to thank all who have supported us so far, from families and friends to colleagues and our supply chain partners. We’ve raised a life-changing sum of money and hope it will make a major difference for young people living without a home.”
