Saltburn Under 10s has scored a set of brand new kits, thanks to a donation from our North Yorkshire team. The region has provided £600 to ensure the football team is in tip-top condition when it hits the turf.
James Kesterton of Saltburn Athletic FC, comments: “The players are delighted. Children of this age group can outgrow their kits very quickly and so we often find ourselves with the expense of replacing them. Support from companies, like Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, really does prove invaluable.”
Jackie Coulthard, managing director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, adds: “Saltburn Athletic will undoubtedly welcome a number of children who live on our nearby Larkfields development, so when we heard that the club was looking for funding, we were thrilled to help.
“It is a great community investment for us and we look forward to seeing how the team gets on in the North Riding Division 4 league.”
Concludes James: “Contributions like this are what help our club continue to thrive. We’re very grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their support; the players will look as professional as they feel when they are on the pitch!”
