We were delighted to provide a festive boost to an Essex school’s Christmas bazaar by donating three hampers worth £250 – two of which were used as raffle prizes, and one which was the star prize for the purchaser of the winning programme.

The event at Warley Primary School in Chindits Lane, Warley, Brentwood, was organised by Friends of Warley Primary School, which is currently fundraising to build a much-needed multi-purpose classroom and re-develop the school library.

Michael O’Leary, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East London, says: “We were delighted to give our support to Warley Primary School, which plays such an important role within the local community.

“As a local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, and this is a great example of how we can help local schools and organisations.

“We wish the Friends of Warley Primary School every success in their fundraising campaign to further improve facilities for children at the school.”

Emma Funnell, Friends of Warley Primary School Committee Chair says: "We are extremely grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their generous and kind support of our school event. With their help, we are thrilled to say, it was our most successful Christmas bazaar to date and is a great example of working together in community partnership."
