NEWS - Chapellhall primary site visit

Children from Chapelhall Primary School in Chapelhall were given an exciting opportunity to see the new homes that are under construction at our Juniper Grove development as part of their ‘Houses and Homes’ project in school.

Youngsters from the Primary 3 class from the school explored our development to learn about the construction of a new home; saw various stages of construction and took the opportunity to visit the show home.

Our the team in Chapelhall were more than happy to facilitate the visit as James Scott, Assistant Site Manager at Juniper Grove adds:  “We were more than delighted to be able to welcome the children from Chapelhall Primary School for an insight into the build process of a Taylor Wimpey home.

“The children have been learning about new homes and how they are built, so this was a really good opportunity for them to learn about some of the process that it takes to build a new home and see some construction activity at the development. We hope that we have also inspired a few of the youngsters to consider the housebuilding industry in the future. “

Class teacher Alison Woodley, said: “Our children thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Taylor Wimpey’s Juniper Grove, asking lots of questions and learning about the building process. They really enjoyed seeing the different stages that it takes to build a new house in real-life, and we know they absolutely loved the show home.”
