Our West Midlands team has lent their support to Greyhound Trust Hall Green with a £500 donation.
The regional team encouraged residents from around Staffordshire to put forward nominations for their chosen local groups, organisations or individuals. Greyhound Trust Hall Green was announced as the winner after receiving the most votes from the local community. The trust will be putting the £500 donation towards the cost of kennelling up to 40 greyhounds currently in care and looking for a forever home.
Tracey Parbery, Chairperson at Greyhound Trust Hall Green, said: “We are over the moon to receive such a generous donation from Taylor Wimpey, especially at such a difficult time for our self-funding, volunteer run charity, which has been so badly hit by the current health crisis as all of our fundraising events have been cancelled. On behalf of everyone at Greyhound Trust Hall Green, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor Wimpey for helping us to keep going and giving this amazing breed a chance at a new home.”
Angie Prince, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, said: “We are delighted to announce that Greyhound Trust Hall Green are the winners of our New Year competition and are pleased to be able to give them the support they need at this difficult time.”
