As part of our ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, our East Scotland team donated £500 to Paisley Grammar School. The money provided a boost to the Parent Council’s fundraising towards a health and wellbeing suite as well as sports kits for various clubs and teams in the school.
Paisley Grammar School Parent Council is helping its young people by providing funding for its new fitness suite. Their committee reached out to Taylor Wimpey at the start of the year to provide a boost to their fundraising efforts.
Janice Levens, Head Teacher at Paisley Grammar Primary said: “We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received from Taylor Wimpey and we can’t thank them enough for their generous donation. Our Parent Council Fundraising Committee is working tirelessly to raise the much-needed funds to create a health and wellbeing suite for every one of our children to enjoy. Plus they are also helping to us to provide sports kits for our school teams – which is where we plan to allocate Taylor Wimpey’s donation to providing the sports kits for the Under 14s and Under 18s Football Teams”
Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland: “We are proud to be able to support Paisley Grammar School with a fundraising boost to their plans for a fitness suite as well as to kit out their school teams. We do more than just build high-quality homes. Being able to work with local businesses and organisations that surround our developments means a great deal to us, and it’s great to know that we are helping to make a difference to the lives of people in local communities.”
