We invited children at Badsey First School in Badsey – near to our Preedy Place development in the village – to create their own posters for a Walk to School poster competition.
The pupils’ posters focus on encouraging drivers to slow down, and have been put up outside the school. In recognition of their efforts, we have donated 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes of gift vouchers for the competition winners.
The pupil whose design was judged the best secured £25 in gift vouchers, while second prize was a £15 gift voucher and third a £10 gift voucher.
Julie Jones, headteacher at Badsey First School, says: “We encourage the children to walk to school to promote a healthier lifestyle and to reduce traffic outside the school. We were delighted to accept Taylor Wimpey’s challenge to design posters and were really pleased with pupils’ designs.”
There’s a superb selection of three and four-bedroom houses currently on sale at Preedy Place.
