Youngsters from Bradley Barton Primary School in Newton Abbot, Devon, helped mark the official launch of a brand new play area at our Newton Abbot development, Hele Park, by enjoying a fun-filled afternoon sampling the new equipment!
To celebrate the ongoing partnership between the school and our Exeter team – and to tie in with the children’s current project which is all about ‘exploring Newton Abbott’ – Year 5 pupils at the school were invited along to the opening of the new playground at the development on Wednesday 20th April 2016.
This is the second time we have teamed up with the school, after we previously donated 95 slap bands to encourage pupils to walk to school – and help keep them safe on the journey.
Julie Barton, Headteacher at Bradley Barton Primary School, says: “It’s really important to us as a school, to partner with local businesses and the new homes at Hele Park will have a significant impact on our school intake in future years.
“Taylor Wimpey have built the new play park into the existing forest landscape at Hele Park very well and a number of our children commented that the forest feel of the play area was really awesome.”
Clare Brimble, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Exeter, says: “We were delighted to welcome the Year 5 pupils from Bradley Barton Primary School along to the official opening of our brand new play area at Hele Park!
“The playground is a fantastic addition not only for the new residents at Hele Park, but also for local families from the wider community, and we hope lots of children will enjoy it for many years to come.
“We would like to thank the teachers and pupils for coming to the launch of our new play area. We hope they enjoyed the visit and that the children found it useful for their ‘exploring Newton Abbott’ project.”
Hele Park currently offers a stunning selection of three, four and six-bedroom homes.
