Children from primary schools in Devon and Cornwall have left a lasting legacy at a number of our developments.
Our regional business unit Taylor Wimpey Exeter invited pupils from several schools to visit our sites and bury time capsules filled with memorable items including everything from uniforms, photographs and lunch menus to examples of their work, school prospectus’ and hymn books!
The aim of the project was to give the children a chance to reflect on what life is like today and how it might change in the future.
Youngsters from Rockbeare C of E Primary School and Pre-School buried their time capsule at our Cranbrook development in Exeter, and children from Wembury Primary School visited our Barton Brake site in Wembury to bury theirs.
Meanwhile, pupils from Heathcoat Primary School in Tiverton popped along to our Rackenford Meadows development in the town, and members of the school council from St Columb Minor Academy dug deep at our Trevenson Meadows site in Newquay.
