We encouraged creative children from Kestrels Field Primary School in Hamilton to declare their love for the Leicestershire village by designing posters that expressed their admiration for their community.

Pupils taking part in the ‘What Hamilton Means to Me’ competition were asked to create posters that showed their appreciation for Hamilton, and the winning entries would have the honour of being displayed in our nearby Rainbow Meadows Sales Centre.

An entry by class 3 pupil Cerys was chosen as the winning work of art, while class 4’s Jess and class 5’s Anjelika came second and third, respectively.

Cerys was presented with a £30 book voucher by our East Midlands Sales Manager Nick Upex during a special assembly at the school, with Jess winning a £20 voucher and Anjelika a £10 voucher.

Nick says: “We already know that Hamilton is a fantastic place to live, but the pupils from Kestrels Field Primary School have really opened our eyes to even more things which make it such a great area.

“We were so impressed with all the children’s competition entries that it was a very hard task to select just three top entries, and I’d like to congratulate everybody who took part.”

There’s a wide variety of high-quality two, three, four and five-bedroom homes coming soon to Rainbow Meadows, which is located off Bryony Road, Hamilton, Leicester.
