Taylor Wimpey - Great Western Park - Christmas Concert 2013WEB

The residents at Taylor Wimpey’s Great Western Park development in Didcot were able to get into the festive spirit at a Christmas carol concert thanks to the leading housebuilder.

Taylor Wimpey loaned the Great Western Park Residents’ Association the use of the Sales Information Centre car park and also provided lighting for the community event.

Residents enjoyed live music from Wantage Silver Band, as well as carol singing, mulled wine and mince pies at the event on Thursday 5th December.

John Boden, Chairman of the Great Western Park Residents’ Association, says: “We are indebted to Taylor Wimpey for once again allowing us to use the car park and for providing the lighting.

“We don’t have a community hall at the development yet, so events like this are a fantastic way to boost community spirit and enable people to get to know their neighbours. We are very grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their help and support.”

Darren McCormack, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted to have lent our support to the residents’ association Christmas carol concert and that lots of people came along to help make this festive celebration a success.

“It’s wonderful to see such an active residents’ group and this shows that it is possible to generate a real sense of community spirit despite people’s increasingly busy lives.”
