Grange Lane Infant Academy in Rossington, South Yorkshire, has expanded its P.E. curriculum with a brand new cheerleading club, after we provided an equipment donation!
We donated batons, ribbons and pom poms, enabling the school to establish a weekly cheerleading club for 20 pupils in Year 2.
Mrs Chappell, Principal at Grange Lane Infant Academy, says: “Dance and physical education are an essential part of our curriculum and we’re thrilled to be able to offer an exciting new activity to students.
“We’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their incredibly generous donation, which has really helped to enhance lessons for our students.”
We recently partnered with Grange Lane Infant Academy by running a site naming competition for our upcoming West End Lane development – Holly Hill.
Holly Hill is located just minutes away from the school and is set to open in the coming months, offering a selection of three and four-bedroom homes.
Anne Bagshaw, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, comments: “Here at Taylor Wimpey, we recognise the importance of physical education to maintain good health and enhance teamwork skills.
“We’re delighted to donate cheerleading equipment to the school, allowing teachers to diversify the existing sport curriculum. We hope the Year 2 pupils have fun in their new lessons!”
Mrs Chappell concludes: “Everyone at the school is extremely grateful to Taylor Wimpey and we look forward to working with them on future projects.”
