Pupils at a Staffordshire primary school are looking forward to playing in a newly-resurfaced playground, thanks to help from us.
Our North Midlands team, which is building new homes at Mitchell Gardens in Kidsgrove, has donated £250 to Scholar Green Primary School in nearby Scholar Green.
The money will go towards the resurfacing of the new Key Stage 1 playground, for children in Years 1 and 2.
Lyndsey Coleman, Headteacher for the school, says: “We’re delighted to have received this generous donation from Taylor Wimpey, which we’re spending on developing our outdoor space for the benefit of the school children, and we’d like to say a big thank you for their support.”
Carl Cooke, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, says: “We are delighted to help Scholar Green Primary School carry out improvements to their playground, and I hope the pupils really enjoy playtime in their new outdoor area.
“As a local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, and this is a great example of the way we can help schools and other local organisations.”
There’s a superb selection of three and four-bedroom homes currently available at Mitchell Gardens.
